If You Fly Several Times A Week, You May Not Need This Battery De-Sulfator/Maintainer....Quite As Much....

After an in-flight alternator/regulator failure, the amount of reserve power/energy left in your battery is vital.  This unit is designed especially for the majority of aircraft owners who don't typically fly every few days but who have 110V power available nearby.  If used properly, it can maintain your battery to absolute peak performance all the time, and numerous studies have shown can  increase the useful life of your battery 2 to 3 times!

Our Bat Pac Model 12112GA is usually all you ever need to know about maintaining your battery to absolute peak performance for ever!  It has 3 separate modes:  Charge (1/1/2 amps), De-Sulfate/Condition, and Long-Term Maintenance/Monitoring.  While intended to remove normal plate sulfation which is the prime culprit in reducing capacity and the battery to accept a charge, this unit has even shown to be able to restore many "junk" batteries to near* full rated output.  This de-sulfation process will not remedy mechanical damage such as shorted cells, or severe physical derogation or reactive material "fall off" damage to plates. This unit will generally reject a battery with a "shorted cell" as un-recoverable.
*
Typically, severely sulfated batteries can be restored to approx. 80% of original rated capacity.  This unit will not "repair" shorted cells or physical damage to batteries, but will only remove (and keep from forming in the future), most sulfation as forms on batteries which have been neglected or not charged on a regular basis etc.  See our material on Battery Sulfation for more details.

Aero Bat Pac 24V 2.4 amp, Commercial Grade/Heavy Duty De-Sulfator/Chargers
Model#24021GA24V  (Available in both 12 and 24volt)
Same basic features as the 12V unit, but comes in a larger "commercial grade" format and 2.4 amp output charger.  It features a durable aluminum case and comes complete with terminal ring connections and temporary alligator clips. The 24v unit is similar in appearance to our Heavy Duty 2.4amp 12volt unit which is ideal for larger batteries and quicker de-sulfation for heavily sulfated batteries.

Requires 110V input.  In it's "charge" mode it is a capable 2.4 Amps charger as well as an effective heavy duty De-Sulfator.  Like it's smaller 12 V cousin (Model 12112GA), it is especially suited for long-term maintenance as well as de-sulfation of all typical GA 24V batteries including gel cell etc.   It has 3 separate modes:  Charge (/2 amps), De-Sulfate/Condition, and Long-Term Maintenance/Monitoring.  As with all of our "tuned frequency" units, these Heavy Duty units will generally reject a battery with a "shorted cell", vibration damage, or other than heavy sulfation problems, as un-recoverable.
*Note:
 6, 12, 24, 36volt output units are available.
